Office cleaning in Portland
You run the office. You shouldn’t also be running the cleaners. Cheerful Cleaning is an owner-run company that cleans offices after hours in Portland, Beaverton and Hillsboro, from downtown suites to tech and corporate offices in the west-side business parks, sends photos when each visit is done, and keeps one written standard for your space.
If you’ve been chasing a missed restroom, re-explaining the break room, or walking the floor on Monday morning to see whether anyone came, that’s the part we take off your plate. See everything else we clean on our commercial cleaning page.

What a typical office cleaning visit covers
Commercial office cleaning looks a little different in every building, but most routines are built from the same pieces.
- Desks and surfaces. Wiped down, cleaned around, never through. Papers, screens and personal items stay where you left them.
- Kitchens and break rooms. Counters, tables, sinks and appliance fronts, with the trash taken out.
- Restrooms. Toilets, sinks, mirrors and floors. They get the most minutes of any room, because they’re the room people judge.
- Floors. Vacuumed and mopped every visit.
- Trash and recycling. Emptied from desks, kitchens and common areas, with fresh liners.
- Glass. Entry doors and interior glass, including conference-room walls and partitions.
- High-touch surfaces. Door handles, light switches, shared appliance handles and conference-room tables, wiped each visit.
That’s the usual pattern, not a fixed menu. Each site’s exact scope is written into the quote, so you know what’s included before the first visit, and so does everyone who cleans your space. To see what a good scope looks like, start with our office cleaning checklist, or read what commercial cleaning includes.

How often, and after business hours
Most offices are cleaned when nobody’s working — early in the morning, in the evening or on weekends — so the first person in finds the place reset and nobody has to work around a vacuum. After-hours office cleaning is how most of our clients run it.
How often depends on the office.
- Nightly suits larger offices, busy shared kitchens, and spaces where clients walk through every day.
- A few times a week is the most common fit for small and mid-size offices: restrooms, kitchen and trash stay on schedule without paying for a nightly visit.
- Weekly works for a small office with a few people and light traffic, or as a starting point you can step up from.
Not sure which fits? Tell us how the office is used and we’ll suggest a schedule. You can change it later.

A photo record after every visit
We photograph our work on every visit and send the photos to you when we lock up. You see the break room, the restrooms and the conference room — the same spots, every time.
For an office manager, that means you don’t walk the floor to check, you don’t have to take anyone’s word for it, and when someone asks whether the office was cleaned last night, you can answer with a picture.
Getting started
Smaller offices get a real number over one phone call. Larger spaces get a walk-through: we look at the space, ask how it’s used and write the scope down. Either way, the quote is an exact price, not a range that moves later. Pricing is a flat hourly rate, and you can see how our pricing works.
A certificate of insurance is available on request, and we can have it to you before the first visit. When you’re ready, request a quote or call (503) 847-2829 and talk to one of the owners.
If something’s not right
Tell us within 24 hours and we’ll come back and make it right — free. Because of the photo record, we’re never arguing about what happened; we can both see it.
