Medical & therapy practices
Medical and therapy office cleaning in Portland
Patients notice the waiting room first. The front desk, the restroom, the chair they sit in — that’s how a practice looks to someone who doesn’t know you yet. Keeping all of it in order shouldn’t fall to your practice manager.
Cheerful Cleaning is an owner-run company that cleans medical offices after hours in Portland, Beaverton and Hillsboro: small clinics, dental offices, chiropractic and physical therapy practices, and counseling and therapy offices. One documented standard for your practice, and photos after every visit.

What we clean in a clinic or practice
Dental office cleaning, clinic cleaning and therapy office cleaning share most of the same rooms. A typical visit covers:
- Waiting rooms. Seating, side tables and entry glass.
- Front desk. Counters and surfaces, cleaned around your computers and paperwork.
- Exam and consulting rooms. Counters, chairs and surfaces, reset for the next morning.
- Therapy rooms. Seating, side tables and floors.
- Restrooms. Fixtures, mirrors and floors.
- Break rooms and kitchens. Counters, tables, sinks and appliance fronts.
- High-touch surfaces. Door handles, light switches, chair arms and counters, disinfected each visit.
- Floors and trash. Vacuumed and mopped, with the trash emptied and fresh liners put in.
Each practice’s exact scope, including what stays untouched, is written into the quote; our guide to what commercial cleaning includes explains what a written scope should list. The routine is the same one we run in any Portland office; what changes is the care we take around patient and client spaces. The rest of what we clean is on our commercial cleaning page.

Discretion is the default
We clean after hours, when patients and clients aren’t there. Inside the space, our rule is simple: we clean around your practice, never through it.
- We don’t open files, drawers or records, and we don’t read what’s on desks or screens.
- Paperwork, files and equipment stay where you left them. We clean around them.
- We follow your instructions about rooms that stay closed, and we leave them closed.
- What you tell us about access and off-limits areas goes into the quote, so every visit follows the same instructions.
A photo record the practice can point to
After every visit we send photos of the waiting room, restrooms and treatment or consulting rooms. It’s the practice’s proof that the space was reset. Photos show rooms, not people: no patients, no screens, no records, and we take them after the room is cleared.
For a practice manager, that replaces the early walk-through before the first appointment. And if anyone ever asks whether a room was cleaned, you have the picture and the date.
How often
Nightly is common for clinics and dental offices that see patients every day. Therapy and counseling practices often do well with a few times a week, because rooms are in use for part of the day and traffic is lighter. A small practice with a handful of rooms may start weekly.
Tell us how the practice runs and we’ll suggest a schedule. You can change it later.
Getting started
A smaller practice gets a real number over one phone call. A larger one gets a walk-through, where we look at the rooms and ask which ones stay closed. The quote is an exact price, not a range that moves later, at a flat hourly rate — see how pricing works.
A certificate of insurance is available on request, and we can have it to you before the first visit. When you’re ready, request a quote or call (503) 847-2829 and talk to one of the owners.
If something’s not right
Tell us within 24 hours and we’ll come back and make it right — free. The photo record means we’re never arguing about what happened; we can both see it.
